Cherry Blossoming

This past weekend I went down to see the cherry blossoms in DC in full bloom, and it was absolutely beautiful. You can really tell that it's spring now! I kept this look comfortable, effortless, and just a little bit retro. I have to say that I haven't always been the biggest fan of midi skirts, since I'm 5'3" I feel they make me look even shorter than I am and have to be worn with heels. But then I found this bright red flowing midi at A&F which was so elegant but fun and my opinion on them has changed. The pop of color from the skirt keeps this outfit playful while not going over the top. The striped crop top is from Brandy Melville, and looks good with just about anything. I'm again wearing my cloth mary janes from Urban Outfitters, they are just so comfortable and easy to match with!

Cal Part 3

I enjoyed my time at Berkeley so much that I decided to get a tank top and rep it back here in Baltimore on one of our first sunny days. I kept this look casual and was even told that I looked "so California" that day. This outfit was super comfortable with the soft, flowing tank, and the stretchy fabric skort. I love a pretty envelope skort, they are really versatile and cute, and give you more freedom than a skirt. To keep with the relaxed vibes, I threw on my pair of patterned cowboy boots and called it a day. As usual, I left my hair loose and natural. The wind tousled my hair just enough to give it an effortless windswept look.

Pastels for Easter

Spring is finally in the air in Baltimore! Between the holidays Easter and Passover, and the sun coming out, campus has had such a happy, chilled vibe. This Easter outfit reflects that attitude with its bright pink color. The cut of the dress is very flattering, and the structured skirt gives it an element of sophistication. Since spring is all about light colors, I paired this outfit with my baby blue Longchamp mini tote. It's a great size to hold all the everyday bits and bobs. To finish it off, I wore my classic platform Steve Madden nude patent leather stilettos. Every girl should have a good pair of nude heels in their closet, they go with almost anything!
